It’s Angela here with a new layout featuring all the beauty of The Ink Road dies ’cause I’m crazy in love with them! I’ve already used the Hello Gorgeous die for other projects, like the card you can find here, but this time I wanted to use it in a scrapbook page and here it is!
It’s rainbow layout, made of little multicolor triangles colored with different media. I used inks, acrylic paints, metallic paints and glitter pastes. For making it, I started grabbing a 12 inches white cardstock, the thicker the better. I drew a geometric heart shape in the center and adhered washi tape all around. Then, I started arranging pieces of washi tape on it so to create a mosaic look. I colored the spaces among the washi trying to keep them in a rainbow order.
When everything was dry, I removed the washi and sewed around the heart with white thread. This helped me to better define the heart shape.
I used the Hello Gorgeous die for cutting my title, because its big size is perfect for it. To make the words stand out in a so busy page I went for black. I cut it in black cardstock and to make it pop even more, I cut it also in black fun foam. I adhere the cardstock on top the fun foam and here is a beautiful, I should say gorgeous dimensional title!
The page is to celebrate a fun night spent with some good friends of mine and I used two pics of the eve. I matted the photos with some flowers bouquets. These come from another set of dies, the Bella Flora dies and I cut them in white.
To complete the page, I added my handwritten journaling using a fine black liner.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you liked my layout and you feel inspired to create!
