Hello, Happy Wednesday my crafty friends. I’m so excited to be back with the Ink Road Stamps design team and sharing more projects and inspiration with you.
Today I have a layout I created using some of my favorite stamp sets and a cut file I designed. So, let’s get started.
I started by adding clear gesso to a piece of Bazzill Marshmallow 12 x 12 card stock. I knew I wanted to add a color medium, so that is why I prepped the background.
Using Catherine Pooler Inks, I smooshed the ink onto the background.
I recently designed this Polaroid digital cut file and couldn’t wait to use it. The cut file was designed in a way that I could layer paper behind the frame. Using Ink Road Stamps and Catherine Pooler inks, I created my own pattern paper to fill these polaroid frames. The frame on the left and center uses Between the Lines, the frame on the right uses Full Circle.
Not shown, but I stamped Frond of You and Bella Flora stamps on Judikins Embossible Window Plastic using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Brutus Monroe Icicle embossing powder. I wanted to add floral elements without loosing my background.
The color scheme of this project was inspired by piece of pattern paper by Pink Paislee: Paige Evens Horizon Collection (03). I love this paper so much, I didn’t want to waste the whole sheet, so I cut out the middle and left a 1″ border that I will use to frame out my layout.
And here are the final results!
