Hey friends! Natalie here, sneaking a little Game of Thrones reference into an everyday travel page for a fun, whimsical vacation album.
I had this fun photo from our trip up a lighthouse, and wanted to create a mostly black layout. I inked up my favorite foiliage from Frond of You and layered them up. On some of the Monstera leaves, I double stamped before stamping on the strips I wished to use in order to get this ghosting effect.
I also used the Between the Lines set for the dalmatian print.
I cut my stamped pattern strips into smaller, varied widths, and backed them on black cardstock. I added splatter and matted my photo on black as well.
I used the new Throne set for my title, self explanatory here.
For interest at the top, I stamped the palm leaf in black, the added the die cut gold leaf on top. I used the so shiny and awesome Shikira Gold flat backed gems to embellish around the page and tie into this gold leaf.
Creating these stamped, patterned rows was super fun, and so many versatile designs can be created with the same process. Switching colors and patterns can create endless design options! I hope you’ll join me in adding some pattern to your pages with your Ink Road Stamps!
