Hi Everyone! It’s Jessica here sharing a sassy (belated) Christmas card featuring Happy Holla Days.
I started with creating my card base and chose pattern paper with a snowfall design, creating an A2 sized card (4.25 x 5.5). I die cut a stitched circle and glued the backing into place for an embossed one layer look. Next, it’s on to Santa and very simple coloring with alcohol markers.
Spectrum Noir Combos:
Santa suit: DR1, DR3, DR5
Beard/White trim: IG1, Blender Pen
Face: FS1, FS2
For a little something extra, I added texture using a Snow Marker (it creates a puffy texture once heat is applied) and glossy accents to his cool shades.
For the sentiment, I heat set white embossing powder on black card stock and added dimension with 3D foam squares. I also placed the Santa image on 3D foam squares, added a few signature clear sequins and added a vellum die cut to the end of the pipe.
I can’t wait to see all your lovely holiday cards and hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Here’s to a fabulous New Year!
