Hello, hello. Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a blue card sure to make you smile. Just a warning before we go any further; this card contains profanity. If that’s not your cup of clam chowder that’s okay. Just go ahead and skip this post.
To begin I masked a slimline card (3.5″ x 9″) from 2.25″ to 6.75″ using full sticky backed Post It notes.
Using small images from the Bloom Where You Are Planted and the Majestic AF stamp sets I stamped across the non masked sections of the card with black pigment ink and heat setting with clear embossing powder.
After removing the mask I used the ‘holy shit’ sentiment from the Holy Sh*t set on the unmasked portion of the card; stamping in black pigment ink and heat setting with clear embossing powder.
Then I cut Post It notes into .5″ strips and lined them up side by side down the entire length of the card.
Removing every third .5″ mask I blended on a different shade of blue ink, replacing the masks after each color.
Next I spritzed some water across the card for a really cool effect.
I stamped the ‘you are lovely’ sentiment from the Majestic AF set to lime green cardstock. I trimmed it into a sentiment strip and adhered it below and slightly to the right of the ‘holy shit’ sentiment. I added some green color to the leaves using a glitter marker and adhered a few Flat Back Half Gems in Emily Lime.
That’s all! Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my card. If you haven’t done so already make sure you’re subscribed to the blog and be sure to use code COYKOI10 to save 10% off of your next Ink Road Stamps order.
Until next time,
