It’s Ashleigh here, and I’m super excited to be sharing my first blog post for Ink Road Stamps with you!
For this card, I combined the amazing I Object and the now retired Between the Lines stamp sets.
First of all, I grabbed some white cardstock and stamped the lines from Between the Lines set with clear embossing ink. I then sprinkled some white embossing powder over the top and heat set them.
Next I took the amazing silhouette stamp from I Object and stamped her onto the cardstock with black pigment ink – You may find it easier to use a stamp press to make sure you get even coverage of the ink. Once stamped, sprinkle your clear embossing powder all over the image and heat set.
Now to add a little colour! Blend a shade of pink ink, working your way down the page and getting lighter as you go. To add a little more interest and texture, ink the same colour you have just used through a stencil. Take a dry paper towel and carefully wipe over the embossed areas to remove any excess ink and make the embossing stand out.
To finish off the card, stamp your sentiment with black ink and heat emboss if you desire. Adhere the background onto black cardstock and stick onto card base.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this card, and give it a try for yourself! Use my code ASHLEIGH10 to save 10% off your purchase on the Ink Road Stamps website.
