Hi Everyone!
It’s Ashleigh back on the blog today, sharing this card I created with the fabulous Expecto Stampo set.
To create this card, I first took a piece of white cardstock and randomly stamped a variety of images from the set with black pigment ink. I then heat embossed these images with clear embossing powder to make them nice and shiny – And also to resist ink!
Once heat set and cooled, you can add your choice of colour to the background. To do this, I pressed my ink pad onto a sheet of plastic or slick surface and spritzed it with a little water. Turn over the background and randomly press onto the cardstock. For this card, I focussed the colour in the centre of the card, on top of the embossed areas. Repeat this process with a second colour of ink, this time darker than the first. Dry well with a heat tool.
Carefully wipe off any ink from the embossed areas with a paper towel.
To finish off the card, stamp the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock with black ink. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder to add some extra shine. Add a few sequins, and the card is complete!
