Samantha here – I’m really excited to share this card with all you ‘roadies’. This is the first time I’m using Meow Mix! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to finally use it! It was one of the first Ink Road Stamps I added to my collection – it also happens to be one of my favourites. Why? Just look at how many stamping options are available in this set. How cute is a cat with a mustache!
Here is my card:
I wanted to really play around with this stamp set and include some of those cute extra ‘make you own’ cat stamp options that are available in this set. I started by stamping out the three cats in a grid layout on my card front. You’ll also noticed I added the heart stamp from Ink Road Stamp: Modern Romance. I then stamped out the glasses, bow, crown, mustache on white cardstock. I used my Silhouette to cut them out but alternatively you could use scissors. These were then adhered to my card front using foam tape. I really like how the hearts and glasses pop off the card. I’ve added quite a bit of machine stitched detail to outline the grid and the sentiment (also from IRS: Modern Romance) was heat embossed in white on aqua card. Note: This is a 5″ x 7″ card base – a larger card size was needed to fit in all the cats…
How good is that sentiment with the Meow Mix stamps? I think if I were a cat that is exactly what I’d be saying to whomever’s house I ventured into! (and I’d be wearing a crown…)
