Hello, hello. Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a fun, snarky, split panel card to share with you today. I am head over heels in love with the Fck-a-doodle-do stamp set. I think that the sentiments work well with a number of different sets. In this card I’m pairing it with images from Bloom Where You Are Planted.
This card is a little different so I took some photos to explain what I did.
I started by stamping several of the floral images from the Bloom set to an A2 sized card panel. I colored them in with colored pencils.
I flipped the panel over and marked down the center diagonally and then two inches over diagonally on either side of the original line.
I cut the panel on the outer two lines. You can save the center to create another card.
I tacked the triangles I was left with in place temporarily and traced them lightly with a pencil. I used my traced lines as a guide to help me line up my snarky sentiment.
After stamping the sentiment in black ink I added craft foam behind the triangles for dimension and adhered them to the card front.
I think that this is a very easy, unique, and fun card style.
Thanks so much for stopping by and don’t forget to subscribe to the blog; you won’t want to miss all the awesomeness the Ink Road Stamps design team has in store for you!
Until next time,
Samantha Ziegenfuss
