Natalie here sharing a tropical pocket page scrapbook layout with you today. I know we probably shouldn’t play favorites, but to be honest, Frond of You is my favorite stamp set from Lara’s first release. It’s so on trend and just plain gorg! It was the perfect stamp set to choose for a page documenting a recent trip to Paradise.
I was inspired by this little summer price tag from Joann’s for the colors on this pocket page layout. I saw it and remembered I always LOVE navy and green together, so why not?!
I used a sentiment from The Struggle Is Real to hide the product brand, and a couple of well-placed sequins hid the price. Boom – a little pocket page tag that coordinates phenomenally with Frond of You.
I heat embossed the fronds onto navy cardstock to create my own patterned pocket cards. A tip for embossing: Keep a small, dry paintbrush nearby to brush off any excess powder which may stray from your stamped image prior to heating!
Let’s be real – the Compliments – Volume 1 stamp set documents all the feels I have for the beach, ocean and all things paradisaical Caribbean. I used a circle punch to create a border out of the embossed patterned paper on my title card. I used three different color coordinating inks to do a gradient color on the title stamp. It’s always best practice to try this out before committing to your actual project!
I fussy cut an embossed frond and adhered it to a 3×4 card created from Minc paper and some green foil. I used the foil to bring some shine to this side of the pocket page and balance out the glitter on the other end. P.S. that strawberry smoothie was legit!
I hope you are inspired to create a tropical scrapbook page of your own & keep it on trend with The Ink Road stamps!
