It’s Okay to be Eggstra

May 4, 2020

Hey Roadies!!  I have 2 Eggstra awesome cards to share with you today!

Quick links:  My Instagram  | Eggstra  |  Aurora Deluxe Half Gems  |  Isabelle Peach Half Gems  |  Shelley BowsLacey’s DIY Window Dies

For the first card, I used a stencil and Tattered Rose distress ink to create a patterned background.

I cut my patterned sheet down to 3.75″x5″.  I cut a black piece of cardstock down to 4″x5.25″.  And then I have my white card folded A2 card (that is 5.5″x4.25″)

I grabbed my Eggstra stamp set and my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and stamped away.

I used R0000 and R00 to color my eggs in.

I cut a piece of vellum into a circle and then adhered my egg to it using 3D foam squares.

I tied some string around my card and adhered it to the back using tape.

To finish the card off, I added some Aurora Large Deluxe Half Gems with some glue.

Here are a few more photos of the finished card!

For my 2nd card, I used the Eggstra stamp set again.  I also grabbed a smiley face from the Iconic stamp set.

I also stamped a few small eggs and colored them all slightly different with Copic markers.

On a piece of 4.25″x5.5″ cardstock, I stamped more small eggs .  I colored around the eggs with R00 and R11.  I used the Lacey’s DIY Window Dies to create a square for my shaker eggs.  I placed my Isabelle Peach half gems in there with them as well.  I used vellum for my shaker to blur the background a bit.  I glued Isabelle Peach half gems and a Shelley bow to my egg to make it a bit “eggstra”!

Here are a few more photos of the finished card!

Thanks so much for scrolling along with me!

XOXO, Amanda
