Hey y’all, Ali here! I have a super fun Pop Art inspired layout today! My son is obsessed with Captain Underpants (and if you don’t know who Captain Underpants is, you probably don’t have a little boy in your life! haha!). I had a really sweet picture of him and his sister playing “Captain Underpants and Diaper Girl” that I really wanted to do something special with.
First I pop-artified (totally a word now) my photo and printed it in four different styles. I really wanted it to look like an old comic book, so I created a cut file of the word “ka-pow” with the smoke coming from it! That is where the stamps come in, the Between the Lines set has a dotty pattern that was just perfection for this project!
I also used that stamp on some paper strips that I wove together behind my title!
I just love how this turned out (and so do my kiddos). It is such a fun and whimsical way to tell this story, and reminds me why I love scrapbooking. This stamp though, I still can’t get over how perfect it was for this project! Do you have an “aha” moment with stamp perfection? I would love to hear about it! Happy stamping!
