Hello friends! Angela here. Today’s project is featuring the stamp Lit AF I used to create a birthday card. This set is fun and joking like the sentiment I chose to place on the front of the card. For the card, I chose an old patterned paper I had in my stash. It has a kind of white confetti on a black background in the front. On the other side it’s plain black.
The card has the same shape of a book of matches. It stays closed simply sliding the front panel inside the little flap at the bottom.
When you open it, instead of finding matches, there is a line of colorful birthday candles. The black of the paper is perfect to make the color pop and the candles are heat embossed so the colors are even more vibrant.
To add brightness, I placed a gem above each candle in the matching color. These half gems are simply gorgeous. They come from the same little jar called Lynnea Rainbow ! If you like adding a little sparkling to your project, this is a convenient option, you have many colors all in one little box.
Here is the card open! The sentiment Happy Birthday comes from the Lit AF Stamps itself and it’s heat embossed whit white powder.
That’s all for today. I hope to have inspired you with my book of matches birthday card. Thank you for stopping by.
