Hello everyone! My name is Ricky, and this is the first card I am posting as a design team member for Ink Road Stamps! I hope you are having a great week so far! I am excited to get to know everyone, and I can’t wait to see all your creations!
This week I am using the stamp set Love Wins. Please make sure you head over to my YouTube Channel where I made a video showing how I made this card.
This is a super simple card that can be made with leftover scraps. I dug through all my scraps to find a rainbow order of solid and design paper. I cut them into different sized strips. The solid eggplant piece is cut big enough to fit the sentiment. Then all you do is glue down the strips, stamp out the heart air balloons with some black ink, and then fussy cut them out.
Heat emboss the sentiment on the eggplant-colored cardstock, which is also from the same stamp set. Take a few pieces of foam adhesive and pop the balloons on the card. Now back that with a black piece of cardstock as a matte and then glue that onto the card base. And this is what you are left with!
For some added excitement, adding a few jewels or sequins to give it a little extra sparkle would also be nice on this card. I chose to be simple.
