Popping in today to share my first card for February. You will notice a common theme this month with my cards – Lots of striking white and black elements with pops of pink!
This is a super simple card to make, that I made by first smooshing some pink ink onto an acetate sheet, spritzing it with water and pressing it onto white cardstock. Repeat until you are happy with the end result.
Once the background was completely dry, I used a powder tool to make sure there was no static on the paper, before choosing a heart cluster stamp and repeat stamping it all over the background with Versamark Ink. I heat embossed the hearts with a clear glitter embossing powder to add some extra sparkle.
Once I finished my background, I die cut the shadow Coffee to Go Cup die from white cardstock, and the intricate die from black cardstock, and adhered these together. I added foam mount and adhered them to my background piece.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Modern Romance onto a strip of white cardstock and added clear embossing powder for added shine. Foam mount this onto the bottom of the background piece.
To finish off the card, adhere the card front onto black cardstock and then onto the card base.
