I am in love with all the new book themed stamp sets! For this card I combined Bookish and Shelfish.
I began by repeatedly stamping the book and long shelf images from Bookish to create a background. I stamped using versafine onyx black then clear heat embossed onto bristol smooth paper.
I painted the background with liquid watercolors, letting the colors blend into each other and form messy watercolor textures. I trimmed the edges so it will have a border once added to the card base.
I white heat embossed a sentiment from Shelfish onto black cardstock and cut it into a small sentiment strip. I glued it on top of a vellum heart die cut, then popped it up onto the background.
To finish off the card and add some sparkle I clustered clear confetti sequins around the heart.
For the inside of the card I white heat embossed another sentiment and image from Shelfish. I fussy cut the book image, and added it on top of a strip of pride washi.
