I started by stamping the Mickey coffee mug from Bibbity Bobbity Brew all over the background using versamark ink, and clear heat embossing.
I used Nuvo shimmer powder in violet brocade to do a resist technique with the clear embossing powder. Any watercolor powder would work well here, but I choose the shimmer powder so it would sparkle and feel extra magical.
For the focal image I made a layered die cut using Basics: Floral Coffee Mug. I cut the mug four times out of white cardstock and layered them on top of each other for dimension. I cut the background die out of vellum and light grey cardstock for a soft look.
To finish off the card I white heat embossed a sentiment from Bibbity Bobbity Brew onto deep grey cardstock. I choose to use dark grey instead of black on this card so it would have a softer feel.
For the inside of the card I used more images from Bibbity Bobbity Brew. The mug and border were colored with the same shimmer powder, and the sentiment was white heat embossed on the same cardstock as the sentiment on the front of the card. I love making the inside of my cards coordinate!
Thanks so much for coming to the blog today, I hope there are some more Disney lovers out there who enjoyed this card. If you are interested in these products, or anything else on Ink Road Stamps, you can use BECCA10 for 10% off of your order.
