Hello! Shi Ying here back again with another crafty DIY for you!
Today, I’ll be creating Bookmark tags using the Majestic AF Stamp Set! You can use bookmarks to mark your planner, storybook or send them to a crafty pal after making them!
First, you’ll need:
- Cardstock
- Scissors / Die Set with a die cutting machine
- Majestic AF Stamp Set
- Single hole puncher
- Glue, Foam Dots, Sticky tape
- Inks and Coloring materials
- (Optional) Ribbons / Sequins / Threads
Firstly, create the background of the tags. Stamp small images that will not take away attention from the main image. In the three tags that I’ve created, I chose both the solid and outline stars and roses as the background pattern. I stamped using 2 different shades of colours in each tag. Although the pattern is quite faint in the photos, that is the effect that we would like to achieve 🙂
Next, we trace a heart out (or any other shape you like). If you have a die cutting machine with dies, it would definitely be much easier! After cutting out the piece, I stamped, coloured and cut out the images that I would like the main image to be and stuck it down to the existing “tag”. I added word sentiments as you can see in the above & bottom picture. Then, I added a sticker at the top right corner, hole punched and tied ribbon, threads through it.
Lastly, if you would like an extra sass and dimension to your bookmarks, you can circle around your tag with a pretty ribbon like what I did for all 3 of my bookmarks!
I hope you enjoy reading the process and feel free to let me know if you have any questions! 🙂 Try it out someday okay!
