Hey Roadies! Hope February is treating everyone kindly. Today I’m sharing a non-traditional window valentine (yes, here I go again. I love Valentine’s Day, I cannot help it haha).
I start by ink blending a few blues and blue-greens on white card stock I cut to 4×5.25. Die cut a circle in the middle and then using Tiny Dot Clusters, added dot bubbles in the same colors I used to ink blend and topped that off with some white.
On some white scrap paper, I stamped a mermaid with some bubbles from Shell Yeah and colored that in. I also stamped some seaweed and rocks on the corners of my ink blended piece.
I used foam to prop my window up and glued the scrap paper behind it with my mermaid in the middle of the window. Then adhered it onto a dark blue A2 card base. Using 420 and Modern Romance, I combined sentiments to create a sassy little valentine, “Mermaids Love You Most Days” and finished with a clay star in my mermaids hair.
Ha ha ha! I hope you found that as amusing as I did. You can still preorder these sets in the shop, don’t forget to use my code MAGALY10 at checkout for an extra perk. Have a lovely February Roadies ❤️
