Hi there! This is Hannah Rubenstahl, of Fanciful Faces and The Hedgehog Hollow! Today I am bringing you a card that I created using one of the monthly subscription stamps.
I LOVE these monthly subscription stamps, they are affordable and fun! July’s set is Samantha, she’s a mermaid, and she’s not afraid to make waves! Samantha is still available, but that is shocking, usually, the monthly sets sell out quickly, you’d better hop to the store to get her while you can!
The card I made today was so much fun to create:
I played with Lindy’s Starburst Sprays, which I LOVE, and stencils. There is SO much shimmer in this card! I paired it with some textured Tonic cotton paper, which really provides some nice matting I think.
Samantha was colored with Copic Markers, and I stamped the sentiment using Versifine ink, due to the texture of the sprays and the fine lettering. The jewels I added are new to Ink Road Stamps. I’ve used similar from other companies and these Flat Back Bubbles have always been a mainstay in my craft room.
Even for scenes not under water, the clearness of the bubbles just adds a perfect extra touch when you just need something small. I suggest buying in bulk because you’ll be using them a lot. I’m SO excited that I can now get mine from Ink Road Stamps and support Lara!
