Hello! Welcome. Samantha sharing yet another fun creative way to use Ink Road Stamps. This month I wanted to challenge myself and create a few cards using stamps you wouldn’t normally use for Christmas themed cards. My final card for this month I decided to create the iconic Christmas wreath using my all time favourite stamp set: Full Circle.
Wreaths don’t have to be leafy! They could be anything really…stars, flowers, why not circles!? For this card I stamped in various ink colours the circles from the stamp set Full Circle onto die-cut circles around 1 inch. I placed them on a green/apple coloured card that I had already stamped the sentiments (using Ink Road Stamps: Fir Real) on. I did it this way because I wanted to use an embossed background and knew that the sentiments wouldn’t stamp as well on a bumpy surface. Alternatively I could have stamped on vellum and adhered these between the wreath and the embossed cardstock.
Once the circles and sentiment were adhered to the embossed cardstock I added some machine stitched details, sequins, stars and a twine bow. I corner punched the top right corner and adhered my card front to an A6 card base.
I’ve made so many cards using Full Circle – I’m amazed that the ideas have ranged from birthday cards to Christmas cards and anything else in between.
