Let’s jump into it!
For this card, I didn’t have ANY spooky stamps. But, what I did have was a mediocre talent for water coloring, ink blending, and die cutting. Cha-ching!
I started with freehand watercoloring a pumpkin on some watercolor paper. It took several attempts, and I ultimately didn’t like the the end result, that I used gel pen and a Pilot G2 extra fine point pen. Like I always say: Hate your design? Just add some shading! That ought to do the trick! (I don’t always say that. In fact, that’s the first time I’ve ever…. let’s move on).
Since the card was looking a little plain, I added some texture by die cutting and embossing a specialty foil paper. I also took the liberty to create my own spider web stencil! I ink blended, and die cut, and did some splatters. I was going for a pretty messy, spooky look.
I love these sets so much, because they are SO versatile! Stay tuned for some more spoopy, versatile fun with these sets!
