Hello, dear Roadies. Natalie here with you today to share a sweet memory PEARfectly recorded with the This Stamp is Bananas stamp set!
I had to tell the story of my youngest getting his “big boy bed” and how he asks everyone if they want to see, regardless if they’ve seen it or not, and the PEARFECT sentiment inspired this pear theme which I coordinated colorwise with this Crate Paper house paper.
I also used the Iconic stamp set to add faces to the tiny pears. I felt this made them more whimsical for my page about a small, sweet child!
I stamped the sentiment on cork & embossed it to stand out.
I fussy cut more smiling pears and used them as embellishments around the page. I also shadowed some pears on the mixed media background for additional continuity within the page.
I love the rustic look obtained when stamping on textured cardstock!
I also incorporated a pear and an additional sentiment in my journaling.
