Photographic Cards with Angela

February 18, 2019

Hi Roadies, Angela back! Today I’m showing you a few fun cards featuring PSL Stamps and photographic papers. I love using patterned papers in my projects, there are some great ones out there, but photographic patterns are pretty difficult to use on cards.

PSL Stamps have lots of fun sentiments and cute images that I really wanted to use and I realized that I had the perfect paper pad to mach them.

For my first card I used the Pumpkin Spice Season sentiment embossed on vellum with rose gold embossing powder. I cut the vellum in the shape of a banner and added a little embossed strip at the top. I adhered it in the center of the card, using foam adhesive exactly underneath the embossed strip; this way it is not visible. I embossed with the same powder the edge of the card, so to define it. Just a few sequins in the shade of bronze and the card was done.

The second card was very easy to make. In the pad there was this fun paper with feet wearing sleepers lied down in front of a fireplace. Cozy AF was the perfect sentiment for it!

As before, I stamped the sentiment on vellum, using gold embossing powder. I cut it in a strip and embossed the edge always using gold powder. Then, I stamped the Boots on a piece of white cardstock and colored them with my Nuvo markers and fussy cut them. I adhered all in the low right part of the card and voilà!

The last card i featuring the Sweeter Weather sentiment which perfectly match with this knitting work paper. The process is almost the same, I stamped the sentiment on vellum, this time using silver embossing powder. In the PSL Stamps there is this little scarf that I colored and fussy cut. I added a couple of bow using silver twine with two beeds and felt cord and nothing else was needed to make me feel the card completed!

Do you like this idea? I really hope so! Thanks so much for stopping by today, I’ll see you soon with a new project.

Love,

NG
