Hello, hello! Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a fun black and pink take on the Holly Pixels Art Supplies Background stamp. This is a pretty simple card and the vellum adds just a little touch of elegance.
To begin I used black pigment ink on pink cardstock to stamp my image. I heat set it with clear embossing powder and trimmed it down to 3.75″ x 5″. I stamped the “makers gonna make” sentiment from the I Arted set in the same way. I die cut it using a basic circle die and layered it onto a piece of black cardstock cut with a basic stitched circle die.
Next I took a bit of vellum which I cut to 3″ x 6″ and scored on the 6″ side at .5″ and 5.5″. I adhered it by one .5″ flap to the long end of my card panel and left the other .5″ flap unstuck. I adhered my sentiment slightly overhanging the vellum on the lower right side.
I flipped the vellum up and applied glue to the back where my layered sentiment circle was. This will help the vellum stay in place while disguising where the glue is.
Lastly I added the entire thing to a black A2 sized card base.
That’s it! Easy, huh? Make sure you head on over to the Roadies Facebook group for lots more inspiration and be sure to use code COYKOI10 to save 10% off of your next order.
Until next time,
