Hello stampers, Ali here! I am excited to share my first ever….pocket letter! I haven’t ever had a pen pal or tried my hand at a pocket letter before, so when my crafty friend, Natalie, and I decided to do them I was a little timid. But I had so much fun picking goodies for her and making cute little cards to fill it with.
I went with what I thought would work well with her style, greens and blues (with some shimmer and shine thrown in for good measure). Natalie describes her style as “rustic sparkle” which I absolutely love, so I wanted to stay on that track and give her some goodies she will (hopefully) be able to use.
I used four different stamp sets for this project (and they are all MUST HAVES!)
My favorite element is the Bella Flora flower, I cut it with my cameo, stamped it and then colored it in! I can’t wait to see where she sticks it, it will be so fun to see her use it on a layout or TN spread! From my research, no pocket letter is complete without the addition of washi tape and/or twine, so of course I added those to the sides as well!
I can’t wait to send this off to her (act surprised when you get this, Natalie! Lol!). Have you ever made a pocket letter for a crafty friend? These stamps really amped up the design, I love that little quote “friendship is the glue that keeps us together, the sequins and washi are just for fun” how perfect is that?
