Hello Roadies!! Pumpkin spice season is here!! I love fall and I’ve really been looking forward to cooler weather here in Texas. Since the cool weather isn’t here quite yet, I thought I’d make a cozy card instead. I’m jumping on the slimline card trend and making my very first one for today’s project.
I started with white heavy weight cardstock cut to 3.75″ x 8.25″. I used dye inks in fall colors to create an ombre look. I added some water splatter and some brown splatter for texture.
I used the leaves from PSL and stamped them all over my card base in the same inks I used for the ink blending.
I filled in the some of the empty space using the PSL stamp using the same technique.
Next I spaced out the stitched window dies on my panel and ran it through my die cutting machine. I stamped the sentiment Pumpkin Spice Season using clear ink then sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and heat set. Next I stamped the boots from the set using alcohol marker friendly ink. I colored them in using alcohol markers then fussy cut them out.
I popped up the card panel using foam tape and added gold glitter strips to the top and bottom. I adhered it onto an ivory card base cut to 4″ x 8.25″. I adhered the square die cut inserts flat onto the card base. I popped up the boots using foam tape. To finish it off I added some gold sequins. I hope you like this fall slimline!
