Hello crafty friends. Today I have a card to share with you, using the Ink Road Stamps – PSL set. Let’s get started!
The PSL stamp set is from the newest release. I decided to stamp out all the images in this set, except for the sweater. Using Gina K – Amalgam black ink, I stamped on Xpress It paper, as I knew I would be using Copic markers to color in the images.
The leaves were stamped twice.
Next, I colored all the images in using Copic Markers (Mug – YR04, YR07, YR24, YR27, E57, E59, W01; Leaves – G43, G46, YR24, YR27, RV66, RV69; Scarf – RV66, RV69; Basic Heart – G43, G46; Boots – E13, E15, E18).
For the background, I created an ink blended background with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber.
After I blended the ink, I splattered the page with water to activate the color and pulled it up with a paper towel.
Using the Mama Elephant – Grid Window die, I ran this background piece through my die cutting machine.
I fussy cut the stamped and colored images using a pair of scissors. This way I can test out where I want to place each image on the window grid I just die cut.
Using the outer frame as a guide, I taped this down to my card base to glue the inner squares down.
I then popped up the outer frame to the card base.
Finally, I adhered the fussy cut stamped images into the squares.
Inside the card I used the PSL stamp set again to add a greeting.
Thank you for joining me today. This set makes me feel all warm and cozy! Don’t forget to grab your’s today and you can use discount code LACEY10 for 10% off your order. #createfreely
