Quick & Easy Traveler’s Notebook Spread with Khristina

August 30, 2018

Happy Thursday Friends! I am super excited to be back today with a fun project using the #beautifulmess stamp set to create a quick and easy traveler’s notebook spread. My favorite part about this project is that you can create it in about fifteen minutes with only a 6×6 paper pad and the stamps. How fun is that if you are limited on crafty time or creating on the go?!

I love cute projects that don’t take a lot of time or complicated supplies! I hope that you will even take the time to create this one along with me. Here we go…first step, grab a 6×6 paper pad and your #beautifulmess stamp set. These are the ones that I chose:

Next, stamp your favorite phrases directly on to your patterned papers. If you check out the video over on my channel, you can see this whole process if that helps. Then, cut out those phrases into squares and rectangles. With the rest of your 6×6 patterned papers, cut out some plain squares and rectangles in different sizes. No measuring needed! Random little scraps of paper work the best!

Now, simply layer up all of those little scraps of paper and stamped phrases on the left side page of the traveler’s notebook spread. I used two different heights of dimensional adhesive so that I ended up with lots of dimension and three levels–flat to the page, just a little height, and a whole lot of height. Don’t you love how technical those descriptions are?!

Lastly, I added a few rectangles and a phrase to embellish my 3×4 photo for the right side of the traveler’s notebook spread. Then, I added just a few puffy sticker hearts for some extra pizazz but you could totally go without those and still have a fun and dimensional look. And…..drum roll please….that’s it! I give you permission to create today with just a paper pad and stamps….a quick and easy layout with lots of fun layers that doesn’t take you all day!

Make sure to stop by my channel if you want to watch my process and please tag me if you create a quick and easy spread inspired by this fun project!

xoxo,

Khristina
