It’s Ashleigh back on the blog today with a bright and bold card I made using the brand new Bendy Sentiments stamp set, combined with the fabulous Belated set and Inked. Alison.
First of all, I lined up the ‘Happy Birthday’ stamp in my stamp press, positioning it so it was at the top of my white cardstock.. I then inked it up in red ink and stamped until I got a crisp and clear image. Then I just slid my paper up a little, and repeated with pink ink. Continue this process with each colour of the rainbow. If you don’t have a stamp press, you can always use a trusty acrylic block too.
After my background was complete, I stamped the Inked girl on Copic friendly cardstock and coloured her in with my Copic markers – She’s so cute! ,
Finally, to complete the card, I stamped the sentiment onto some white cardstock.
To finish off the card, adhere the background onto a piece of black cardstock and then onto a white card base. I used foam tape for a little dimension on the sentiment and the Inked girl.
I hope you enjoyed this card! – A super simple, but also effective card. Make sure to follow me on Instagram at @one.crafty.ash, for loads more inspiration, and use my code ASHLEIGH10 at the checkout to save 10% off your order!
