Hey everyone, Kira here. Do any of you save random screenshot text messages from your significant other? I do it all the time. My husband is crazy introverted in real life, but his sense of humor is the greatest thing about him. So I like to screenshot our silly text messages to each other and felt it was about time I scrapbooked one of those photos.
The Call Me Maybe stamp set was perfect for this. I decided to create a cut file out of the speech bubble stamp and enlarge it to make it the main focus of my layout. The speech bubble was backed with a blue watercolor ombre paper and the hearts were backed with a floral print paper. To give the cut file some added texture, I hand-stitched around the border with white thread.
The speech bubble was then bumped up on foam, along with my photo, which I tucked right underneath the cut file. I used the floral paper as my jumping off point for the color scheme on this layout, and used greens, blues and pinks for my embellishments.
#randomtexts ended up being my title for this since, honestly, that’s all this layout is about. Lol. I decided to use a few of the phrase stamps from Call Me Maybe to add some more interest to my page.
