It’s Angela here. I have a new card to share with you featuring Fleece Navidad stamp. As you probably already know, I like experimenting new formats and techniques, so I decided to make a rocking card.
If you don’t know it, the rocking card is a card that stands up, swinging for a few seconds. It is perfect for the upright design of the sheep tree from Fleece Navidad stamp or similar like Merry Catmas or Merry Dogmas, if you want to keep on theme related.
To star making the rocking card, you need a circle. You can use a metal die or even cut it with scissor. The circle will be the base, the pedestal of the card. You can decorated it and place here the sentiment, like I did. I stamped several time the phrase Fleece Navidad with black ink and once with red ink.
Than, you have to fold the circle in half and make a slit in the middle of the folding. That is the place where you insert the sheep tree.
I stamped the sheep tree and I roughly colored it with alcohol markers. To add some dimension, I put a drop of Glossy Accent on the red bows of the sheep and a bit of gold glitter to the star on top. Then, I cut it with my scissors, leaving a flap at the bottom. The flap and the slit has to be approximately of the same size.
Now, put the flap through the slit and connect the two pieces with glue and voilà.
When laid down, the card stays perfectly flat and can be put inside a regular envelop.
Here is the card in action!
