Hello Roadies, Angela here! This year I made a huge production of Valentine’s card but today one is absolutely the one I prefer. First, because is pink and sparkly gold, second because is funny thanks to Sassmaster Stamp. Let’s dive into the process on how I made this card.
The card is made out of a regular A6 white cardstock base with a pink woodgrain paper on the top. Before adhering the woodgrain panel, I cut off a strip large enough to host the sentiment, about half of an inch. I stamped the sentiment directly on the white cardstock base. Then, I adhered the woodgrain panel and the little strip using foam adhesive, to give dimension.
At the top center of the card I placed the Nope Heart, that I heat embossed with Glitter Gold embossing powder by WOW! I stamped it on a separate piece of cardstock, fussy cut it and glued it in place always using foam adheasive. Yes, I do love dimensional cards 😉
I also embossed with glitter gold a fine line along the edge of the card, to match the heart and give more interest to the card. Last, since I hardly live without splatters, I added a few drops of pink and gold ink here and there and a few light pink sequins.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my fun card and are inspired to create your own version of Sassmaster card.
