It’s Angela back today with a modern Love You card using the Modern Romance stamp set by The Ink Road.
At a first glance, this could seam like a common romantic Valentine’s card but, I tell you what Ink Road Stamps are not common stamps and reading this Love You card will make the recipient smile for sure!
To create the card, I had to use part of the same stamp with several colors. I didn’t want to cut and ruin the stamp, so I went for the selective stamp technique, masking the portion of the stamp I didn’t need with some washi tape.
With the help of a stamping tool, I stamped the first phrase with Versamark ink and heat embossed it in black. Then, leaving the stamp in the same position, I stamped the second portion of the stamp, the I Love You, in dark red.
Moving the stamp downward, I went on stamping the I Love You in light red and then fuchsia, pink and light pink.
The word Repeat at the bottom of the card is from the Purr Babies stamp set and also here I used the selective stamp technique, masking the part of the stamp I didn’t want to show up.
I also decorated the black envelop of the card with a shining heart from the Modern Romance stamp set, heat embossed in white.
TIP: to make the stamp lineup more precise , try with a ruler taped on the side, it will make the job much easier.
That’s all for today, I hope you enjoyed the card and I thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon!
