Hello, Sam here!
Welcome to my second blog post for Ink Road Stamps!
Today I am sharing two cards I created using Ink Road Stamps – Just a Number stamp set!
The first card, I started by masking off an area and then proceeded to stamp each number—alternating ink colours. The colours I chose for both these cards are based on this month awesome colour challenge because I wanted to work with quite a few bright colours that also work well together . Once I finished stamping the numbers I removed the masked and stamped my sentiments. I decided that this set was perfect to create interactive cards, so the silver circles are scratchy stickers!! I know, right!! How much FUN is that!
The first card once the sticker has been scratched off will reveal the numbers “60.” While the second card will reveal the “Happy Birthday” stamp from this set. To finish the card, I cut a “wonky” strip using colour coordinating paper and then adhered this to a black card base. I finished the card by adding some black sequins and black twine.
The second card uses a similar approach with the exception of the masking. I decided to go stamp “crazy” with the numbers from this set. I added the balloons and the sentiments. Then repeated the same card base design.
The sentiments in this set are so cute—mixed with bright fun colours these are perfect birthday cards for a fun!
Hope you enjoyed my card share today—and I hope to see you play along with this month’s challenge!
