It’s Angela here. Today, I would like to share with you a fun shaking card featuring Shell Yeah stamp. These kind of noisy cards are always much loved from both adults and kids and also surprising.
To create the card, I first stamped the mermaids. Shell Yeah stamp carries five different mermaids. I chose the three I thought better fit in the card. I stamped them and rufly colored them with regular pastel pencils. Now, I am not a colorist, so do not judge my card from that, please!
In the stamp set there are also some designs to build a scene. There are seaweeds, air bubbles and starfishes. I stamped all the designs on a piece of white card-stock and colored them with regular pastel pencils. Last, I fussy cut the designs and the mermaids with my scissors.
The card size is a 5,50 inches square and in the middle I cut a 4,50 inches circle to allocate the window of the shaker. On top of the plastic window I placed the sentiment, I Make Mermaid Moves, always from Shell Yeah set. I stamped it on a circle of white card-stock and layered on a light blue scalloped circle, slightly wider. I sticked the circles directly on top of the plastic window and embellished with a mermaid and the other designs I previously cut.
I also added some air bubbles and starfishes directly on the card base and a few seaweeds peeking from the circle.
I fill in the shaker with some Gina Clear Bubbles. They are simply perfect to simulate air bubbles! Last, I added the mermaids and voilà!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked the shaker card and feel inspired to create with Ink Road Stamps stamps.
