Hello. Sometimes I get on a Snapchat binge, so when the male and female filters came out I joined in the trend. My brother lives 300 miles away and we sent Snapchats to each other including the female filter. I honestly didn’t realize it was him. Then I made my husband also take one and poof I need to create a scrapbook layout.
I started by stamping a sub title on some Bristol Smooth card stock. The ink colors I used were from Catherine Pooler Inks in It’s A Girl, Tiara, Tutti Frutti, Daydream, Sugared Lavender. Using the Ink Road Stamps Block Party Alpha, I stamped both the solid letters and the outline in Catherine Pooler Midnight.
Next, using a cut file I created for the layout, I backed the cut file with papers from Amy Tangerine’s Shine On collection.
Then I started layering and putting my layout together. Using a combination of pattern paper, Ink Road Stamps, and puffy embellishments.
After I shared this completed layout with my husband, he asked “Who is in the pictures?”. I told him the first picture was of him, 2nd of my bother and 3rd of me. It gave me a good laugh. I love how I can use different Ink Road Stamp sets together to create subtitles and small phrases throughout!
Thanks for joining me today! Have a lovely rest of your week and create freely!
