Angela here. Today, I would like to show you a very simple and colorful card set, easy to make and fast too! Of course, I made it using Ink Road Stamps stamps, colored envelops and white cardstock. Let’s dive into the project!
I began from the envelops. I grabbed some colored envelops I had in my stash and decorated them on both the front and the back side.
To give variety to the set, I stamped all the Happy Mail phrases of Lucy – Happy Mail stamp on the front of the envelops. I used gold embossing powder and a red marker to color the inside of the heart.
For the addressee and the sender spot, I used I Made A Thing stamp and I stamped it with black.
On the opposite side of the each envelop, over the flap, I stamped the fun images of the hedgehog lady. Again, I used gold embossing powder and a red marker to color the open spots of the hearts.
Every envelop contains a card, of course.
Unfortunately, I am not a colorist and I tell you what, I don’t even like coloring so I kept them very simple. By the way, the floral Days-E Bouquet I used is so gorgeous that can stand alone beautifully.
I wanted to add a touch of color anyway. So, I had this idea to masking a strip of the bouquet stamp with some washi tape. Then, I added a stroke of watercolor in the same color of the envelops. When the watercolor was dry, I stamped the hashtag #sobasic from Sassmaster stamp, just for fun and also to make fun of myself!
That’s the final result. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time with another project. Have a crafty stampy day!
