The Subway Art stamp series is a unique find for stampers. All of your favourite quotes or movies lines all in one block just begging to be used in a variety of ways. Something I like to do with a stamp set this big is stamp it and cut it apart to use as multiple sentiments as needed! I did that for two cards today and added some fun sparkly watercolouring in for good measure.
On a white watercolour cardstock panel cut slightly smaller than A2 size I stamped the wreath from beautifulmess in Versamark and heat embossed with gold powder. Using my Kuretake Zig Clean Color markers I added colour all around the wreath and messily blended them in with a water brush. Once dry I went back over it all with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer glitter gloss pen for some SERIOUS sparkle. Then I added some flecks of gold watercolour paint across the entire panel. I heat embossed in gold powder the entire Subway Art Fairy Tale stamp and cut it apart to get the exact sentiment I needed and adhered it over the wreath using foam tape. The final step was to glue the panel to a kraft A2 card base.
Here is a close up of the shimmer. Trust me, it is glorious in real life. Paired with the rainbow colours, this may be my favourite combo of products ever.
My second card was created the same way, this time using different colours of watercolours and another fun sentiment! Which one do you prefer? You KNOW I’m partial to rainbows!
