Hey Friends!
Angela here. Today, I would like to talk about stamping in scrapbooking pages. I love stamping in a layout especially because I have the opportunity to create my own patterned background. The page I am showing you is featuring Mari Party stamp set and it is an example on how creative and unique can become a page with stamps on it.
To create my page, I started stamping a line of gift boxes on the bottom of a 12 in white card-stock. To stamp more lines of gift boxes, I used the masking technique, overlapping the boxes.
Then, I rough colored the boxes with markers, following the color scheme of my photo, mainly green and blue.
On the sides of the page, I stamped two bunches of balloons and adding some real strings to them.
At the top of the page, I stamped twice the phrase Happy Birthday and traced over the second one with a highlighter brush.
Finally, I embellished with bits and pieces I had in my stash plus a few Shannon Green gems.
Here is the bonus project! I enjoyed so much playing with Mari Party stamp set that I had to make a card too! I created this birthday card for a friend of mine and I used the same color combo of the layout because she hates pink! Incredible ;P
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked the projects and you’ll give them a try!
Love, NG.
