Hey y’all, Ali here! I have always loved hand lettering, but I do not have the skills like some of you talented letterers….soooo….when I have a stamp that does the work for me, wow! Talk about perfection…especially if the sentiment fits my story so perfectly. That is exactly the case for this layout and the “Chin Up Buttercup” stamp set!
On our most recent strawberry picking adventure, my son was stung by a bee for the first time ever. While it started as a tramatic event, he raised that little chin up and had a ball the rest of the day!
I used my Tombow dual brush pens to blend my title, I started by coloring the blue pen onto a piece of packaging, then stamped my sentiment as if that were the ink pad. I went back with my blending pen to darken some areas to give the title an ombre effect!
I also used the pens to color in parts of my black and white background paper. But the best part was adding all of the little hexagons, like little bee hives all over my layout!
This stamp set has got to be one of my most favorites of all time, I love it! What is your favorite Ink Road Stamp set?
