Hey friends! It’s Kira and I am back with another 8.5×11 scrapbook layout!
This layout started as coloring practice with my Copics. I find that if I don’t practice regularly, I really lose the feel for how to blend my colors. All of the Ink Road Stamps florals are perfect to practice on. And 90% of the time, they end up getting used for a layout!
I stamped a few of the Bella Flora stamps and the flowers from the Chin Up Buttercup stamp set. Then using my copics, colored in all of the flowers in some bright, summer colors. I fussy cut out all the flowers, but realized the Bella Flora flowers were a little big for what I was looking to do. So I just cut out some of the flowers from the image! Isn’t that the great part about using stamps? You can totally alter your images to suit your needs!
Once I stamped all of my flowers, and started arranging them on my page, I realized I needed more greens. So I stamped out some leaves from the Frond of You stamp set. I arranged my flowers and leaves on my page to look like they were cascading down from the upper right corner, down to the lower left.
I added some sequins in coordinating colors and some black splatters, and called my page done! Thank you so much for stopping by!
