Sweater Weather

October 23, 2020

Hello Roadies! I’m keeping the fall vibes going with this cozy card for today’s project. I created this fall card using the PSL set. I started by ink blending some orange and brown ink onto white cardstock cut to 4″ x 5.25″. I started with the orange working my way in from the edge of the paper. I keep an oval area in the center with no color. Next I added some brown to the edges.

Once all the ink blending was dry I prepped my panel using anti static powder. I gold heat embossed leaves from the set all around my panel.

Next I stamped the cozy sweater onto some patterned paper and fussy cut it out. I added some shading using alcohol markers then went over the cut edges with a black marker for a more finished look.

I matted my panel onto a white A2 sized card base then popped the sweater up using some foam tape. I gold heat embossed two of the sentiments from the PSL set and adhered them flat onto the card. I added some extra sparkle with some brown and gold sequins to finish it off. I hope you like this cozy card! If you’d like to pick up the PSL set you can use Lorena10 for a little discount. 😉 See ya next time, Roadies! -Lorena
