Hi there Roadies! I know it’s fall. Like, almost winter. I get it. But look at these pretty colors! I just couldn’t NOT share it with you. To be fair, I made this back in early September when the weather was still warm and the strawberries were at least a little in season. I decided we could all use some bright colors in our lives so I’m going to go for it!
Each strawberry on the card front is embossed twice. The bottom red, and the top green. I won’t lie to you, this was time consuming and made me angry at times. If you’re not angry you’re not trying hard enough, right?! HA. I’m totally kidding. It was tough but it was doable. I masked the top of the strawberry off and stamped all around with just the bottom inked up in Versamark. Its tough to see, so you’ve got to keep an eye on it. I then embossed it all in Wow Embossing Powder’s Copacobana, which is that beautiful pink-red color you see. Then I did the opposite, only inking up the top of the strawberry and then stamped all of the tops of the embossed berries. I embossed all of them in Wow’s Fluorescent Green powder and I just love the way it turned out.
To finish off the card I used the word “sweet” from the This Stamp Is Bananas set and adhered it to a black matted background sized to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhered it all to an A2 sized card base.
I sure hope this sweet card brightened your day! Thank you so much for stopping by and I’ll see you again very soon!
