Hey friends!! I’m excited to be back this week with another happy card! You can’t go wrong with TACOS, right?! My hubby (Jay) and I love Taco Tuesday! (And it just gets better with margaritas and Coronas, too!) When I saw this stamp set, I immediately thought of him! Such an easy and fun card to make! Read on to see the process!
First, I lined up my stamps on a piece of A2 card stock. I used the Iconic stamp set, the Compliments Volume 2 set, and the Block Party Alpha Outline stamp set. I inked up my stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black. I used this ink pad because it works well with Copic markers.
I stamped more random tacos around the outside of a separate piece of A2 card stock.
I used a stitched rounded rectangle die on my “JAY” card stock.
I decided this little taco needed to stand out from the other tacos, so I put a little face on him. Eek! He’s so cute! I love all the face options in this stamp set!!
I used my Copic markers to color in all my tacos and my sentiments. (Yes, it was a little time consuming, but SO worth it!)
I used G09, G19, R05, R08, E43, E44, E49 ….. Y0000, Y00, Y11, Y06, Y09, Y19, Y26.
I used some 3D foam tape to put my “JAY” card stock in the middle of the taco background card stock.
I used a little glue pen to adhere some absolutely gorgeous Crystal Sunshine gems to finish the card off!
Here are some close-ups of the finished project!! Thanks so much for scrolling through! Enjoy the rest of your week!
