Thank You
Happy January 31st! Can you believe we are already into February tomorrow? This month I was already feeling the love and this card is no exception. I was inspired by the the traditional Valentine’s day colors for this Thank You Card.
To start off I stamped the scallop looking stamp from Ink Road Stamps – Between the Lines. I used Catherine Pooler Inks in Be Mine, Party Dress, and Rockin’ Red.
This piece was cut to 3″ wide x 5.5″ high.
I originally was going to just stamp a portion of the background vs going to the top, but decided to bring the scallop stamp all the way and and to the bottom of the page. The open spot in the middle is reserved for my sentiment.
On Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers cardstock, I stamped the Ink Road Stamps – Thank You. I reach for this set so much since I purchased it. It is such a simple “thank you” with great secondary sentiments to add with it. I stamped “thank you” in clear embossing powder and used Brutus Monroe embossing powder in Alabaster.
I added the “Thank You” sentiment piece to the card using dimensional adhesive.
I then added this to a white A2 card base, but realized it looked a little plain. So I found some lace in my ribbon container and added it to either side of the stamped piece.
I love how delicate this turned out!
Finally, I added Ink Road Stamps – Flat Back Flat Beads in Katie (Soft Pink)
Thank you so much for stopping today! Come back tomorrow for more inspiration!
