Hello, hello! Samantha Ziegenfuss here. I am so happy to be back up on the blog today. It’s been a while.
Have you ever had a card in mind and then when you go to make it the card you end up with is completely different than the card you’d originally had in mind? Well, that is exactly what happened to me with this card and I’m so glad it did! I absolutely love this one.
I masked a rectangle in the center of a piece of white cardstock and used Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide inks to do some very basic ink blending.
Next I used the adorable Lucy- Happy Mail set to stamp two of the adorable little Lucy images. I colored them in using various brands of alcohol ink markers and fussy cut them out, adding them atop my ink blended rectangle.
After that I used the very versatile Lightbox Alphas stamp set to create a simple stamped sentiment that reads “hey” below the blended area.
I used a fun, snarky sentiment from the Haters Gonna Hate stamp set to create a sentiment strip on hot pink cardstock which I layered below my Lightbox Alphas sentiment.
Lastly I topped the whole card panel onto craft foam, popped that bad boy on an A2 sized white notecard, added a few gems and bada boom- card magic.
Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my card. Don’t forget that you can use my special code, Samantha10, to save 10% off of your next order from Ink Road Stamps.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Until next time,
