Hello friends!! Angie here with you today to share a traveler’s notebook layout.
I started this layout by mixing a couple of green and blue watercolors to make the mixed media. I just splattered and moved the watercolor around on my pages with a brush. Once the watercolor was dry, I stamped on top of it using the Born to Create Banner stamp. I love that stamp and it was the perfect sentiment for me to use on this layout which documents my thoughts about being on the AMAZING Ink Road Design Team!!
For the bottom of the left hand side of the layout, I stamped some of the fun images from the #beautifulmess stamp set onto some white cardstock, water colored them and cut them out. (Fun fact–I helped name that stamp set and because of that, I got that stamp for free several years ago!!) I added those fussy cut images along with some of the amazing florals from the Days_e Pharases set for embellishments around my journaling area. The stitched looking stamp and the star in the circle that I used around my layout can also be found on the #beautifulmess set.
For the right hand side of the layout, I stamped some of the words from the #beautifulmess set and made them into banners to go at the top. My subtitle at the bottom of the page also comes from that same set. I flanked each side of my photo with more of those awesome florals from the Days_e Phrases set. They are so fun to stamp and fussy cut!
For the finishing touch on my layout, I used the Donna pearls to sprinkle around the page. They are the perfect final touch!
