Happy Thursday! You are almost through the week and maybe it’s time to “Treat Yo Self” to something you love.
Today’s card is a gift card holder style card. I had so much fun putting this together and decorating not only the outside, but also the inside.
I began with a piece of 12″ x 12″ pattern paper cut to 11″ x 4.25″. I scored this at 1.5″ and 5.5″. This was the base of my card, as well as the fold over for the gift card.
As you see below, I decorated the inside with a combination of pattern paper and kraft cardstock. As well as a stamped image on patten paper.
The Far left side is where i adhered 2 of the sides from the 1.5″ score so I could insert a gift card. The FAR right will show on the front of the card.
I also created a belly band to hold the card together for the recipient.
For the front of the card, I used the PSL stamp set, as well as Mug Life and Snarks & Recreation. I stamped the images on white cardstock, as well as on pattern paper and paper pieced it together. This is a GREAT way to create interesting images without coloring all the time.
I just adore how this card turned out! And I can’t wait to send a little pick-me-up to a friend.
