Hello and happy Monday crafty friends! Today I’m excited to share a different project. I create a notebook using Ink Road Stamps: Majestic AF Background and the WRMK Book Binding Guide Tool.
I knew I wanted to create something different and remembered I haven’t even opened my Book Binding tool yet. As I was searching through my Ink Road Stamps collection, the Majestic AF background stood out to me and the magic began.
Using Bristol Smooth card stock, I cut it down to 4″ x 6″. This is a good size for the stamp background. I created two of these 4×6 panels and stamped the Majestic AF Background on both of them using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
I did some easy painting while watching TV. First, adding highlights to the Unicorns face using AlteNew Watercolors in the lightest grey.
Next, I painted the rainbow unicorn horn on each unicorn and added a little pink to the ears.
Then bound the notebook together, with some YouTube guidance, using the WRMK book binding tool. For the interior papers, I cut 4×6 card stock in a rainbow of colors.
For the cover, I also wanted to add a little title. I used Ink Road Stamps: #beautifulmess stamp set to accomplish this. I painted the leaves in with the same AlteNew colors I used on the unicorn horns.
And there you have it! I enjoyed putting this little note book together and can’t wait to give it away as a gift.
